“The Art of Naming Ceremonies” Compendium

$159.00

Name giving ceremonies can be conducted for anyone, at any time.  Most name giving ceremonies are conducted for babies, although they can be conducted for anyone, including adults.  Parents will choose their preferred time for the naming; perhaps shortly after birth or on the baby’s first birthday.  There are no rules as to who should be named nor how old they need to be.

Sometimes name giving ceremonies are conducted as part of wedding ceremonies.  This is usually the case when the parents have children and the marriage will create a blended family.  The name giving ceremony symbolically affirms that they will become one family.
