PARTICIPANT AND REFUND POLICY DOCUMENT
PARTICIPANT SATISFACTION IS OUR PRIORITY
At Celebrant Training Australia, participant satisfaction is our priority.
We offer refunds in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and on the terms set out in this Policy.
Please read this Participant and Refund Policy document before registering in one of our courses and/or workshops, so that you understand your rights as well as what you can expect from CTA.
CHANGE OF MIND OR CHANGE OF CIRCUMSTANCES
CTA understands that “life just happens” and in the event that you have registered for a course or workshop which for one reason or another, you cannot attend, our refund policies are simple, although we ask that you put your request in writing:
- With written notification 14 days or more from the workshop commencement, we will offer you a full refund, or if you would prefer, change your registration to another course of the same value.
- If you advise us 14 days in advance, a 50% refund will apply and you are welcome to offset this towards another workshop of your choice.
- With 7 or less days notice, a 25% refund will apply, and again you are welcome to offset this against another workshop of your choice.
- Should the course already have commenced, no refund will be given, although, if you are under duress or any other unavoidable scenario, please let us know as soon as possible in writing so your situation can be reviewed.
- Should course material have already been sent or downloaded, no refunds will be issued.
PARTICIPANT BEHAVIOUR
We ask all participants to behave in a courteous, professional and non-discrimatory manner, both towards other participants and your trainer. Your trainer has the right to ask you to “alter your behaviour” or, in the worst case scenario, you may be asked to leave the workshop.
PARTICIPANT PRIVACY
Under the Privacy Act and for training purposes, we must advise that some workshops and courses may be recorded for use by Celebrant Training Australia.

Even though you are joining us via an on-line environment, we ask that you ensure your own safety within your work environment and, if necessary, make yourself aware of and comply with the Workplace Health & Safety Act 2011 (Queensland)
