Study with Zoom – What is ZOOM?
Zoom is the leader in modern enterprise video communications, with an easy, reliable cloud platform for video and audio conferencing, chat, and webinars across mobile, desktop, and room systems. In a nutshell, it allows you to see and interact with your trainer and fellow classmates from your device, be it your desktop computer, laptop, iPad or iPhone. So, it will be just like being at CTA, only in the comfort of your own home!
How Can I Study With ZOOM?
It’s so easy! You simply download the FREE ZOOM app to your device. Once you have it installed, we will provide you with a link to join your particular class session. Then, when you log on and join the session, you will be able to see, hear and chat to your trainer and classmates, just as you would if you were studying in a class.
In terms of classroom delivery, our trainers are conducting the ZOOM sessions with the students as normal face to face classes. They will be able to share PowerPoint and supplementary material with the class group through ZOOM, too.

What are the benefits of Studying with ZOOM?
ZOOM is the most convenient and innovative method to engage students in this COVID -19 situation. It allows us to keep classes running and support students. Through Study with ZOOM, students have the advantage of getting their education in the comfort of their home, using their laptop, desktop or smart phone.
These are some overall educational benefits of ZOOM :
- CTA trainers can provide, when necessary, one on one training without having to meet the student face to face.
- ZOOM allows CTA to conduct a virtual classroom where all can comply with the social distancing rules.
- All ZOOM sessions are recorded. Trainers can make lessons available for students who can’t attend the session (if any).
- Trainers can mute the students so that the class is not interrupted by unnecessary student’s comments.
How Have Trainers Been Equipped for Study with Zoom?
All CTA staff have been trained on how to schedule Zoom meetings, recording the meeting session and how to share their screen (PowerPoint presentation) with students to create a virtual classroom.
